Our Story

Born Out of a Vision, Planted in the Bronx

DOXA Sanctuary is a vibrant, Spirit-filled church in the Bronx, New York — and a proud branch of TOP Ministries International. We are not simply a congregation that gathers on weekends. We are a movement of believers who have been called, commissioned, and sent to carry the glory of God into one of the most dynamic cities in the world (Matthew 28:18–20).

DOXA means Glory. And that is the heartbeat of everything we do (1 Corinthians 10:31).

We stand on the shoulders of a ministry with over 26 years of apostolic legacy, sound doctrine, and Spirit-empowered impact across the nations. That same fire, that same vision, and that same unwavering commitment to the Kingdom of God burns right here in the Bronx. From our weekly services to our streets, from our pulpit to the people, everything we do points back to one mission: His Glory.

At the center of that mission is people. Reaching those who do not yet know God personally is not an afterthought for us; it is one of our greatest responsibilities (Luke 19:10). Every weekend, we create worship experiences that are open to everyone at every stage of the journey, but especially for those who have never had a genuine encounter with God. No matter where you are starting from, you are welcome in this room (Romans 15:7).

And we believe that God did not create any person without a reason. Every life carries a unique design: specific gifts, specific passions, and a specific impact that only you can make on the world around you (Ephesians 2:10). We exist to help you find that. Because until you discover, develop, and walk in your God-given purpose, something will always feel incomplete. You were not made to just exist. You were made to matter (1 Peter 2:9).

That is the story of DOXA Sanctuary. And there is still room in it for yours.

Our Foundation

The Mandate of DOXA Sanctuary

Five non-negotiable pillars that define who we are and what we stand for as a church. This is the heartbeat of everything we do.

01

Souls

Every soul matters to God, and therefore every soul matters to us. Salvation is our highest calling.

02

Apostles' Doctrine

Sound, apostolic doctrine that produces genuine disciples. Truth is our anchor, not tradition or opinion.

03

Pure Worship

Authentic, Spirit-led worship that is fully surrendered to God's presence, not a performance.

04

Leadership

The Church rises and falls on its leaders. We develop servant leaders of integrity, humility, and Holy Spirit power.

05

Missions

From the Bronx to the ends of the earth. Missions is not a department, it is our identity.

What Drives Us

Our Four Convictions

Every service, every program, and every outreach at DOXA Sanctuary flows from these four foundational convictions.

CONVICTION 01

Raising Spirit-Filled Leaders

We are intentional about identifying, training, and releasing men and women who carry the Spirit of God into every sphere of life. Every person who walks through our doors is a leader in the making.

CONVICTION 02

Missions & Outreach

The Great Commission is not a suggestion, it is a mandate. From street evangelism in the Bronx to global missions through TOP Ministries International, the Bronx is our starting point and the world is our mission field.

CONVICTION 03

Holy Ghost-Impacted Services

Every service is designed for one thing, an encounter with the living God. Spirit-led worship, unadulterated Word, and unceasing prayer are not programs; they are our heartbeat.

CONVICTION 04

A Place Where Everyone Belongs

DOXA Sanctuary is a place of safety, belonging, and encounter. Whether you are a first-time visitor or a seasoned saint, there is a seat at the table for you. You were made to participate in the glory of God.

What We Believe

These are the non-negotiable truths that anchor everything we do at DOXA Sanctuary.

The Bible

The Bible is God's inspired Word to all people — written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme and final authority for Christian belief and living, truth without any mixture of error. We do not treat it as a suggestion or a guideline; we treat it as the living voice of God. Every sermon preached, every decision made, and every direction taken at DOXA Sanctuary is measured against and rooted in the Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16–17 · 2 Peter 1:20–21

God

God is the eternal Creator and Ruler of the universe, existing as one God in three Persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each fully God, co-equal and co-eternal. He is holy, sovereign, all-knowing, and all-powerful, yet deeply personal and near to those who seek Him. He is not a distant force or a religious concept; He is a living Father who loves the world He created and desires a genuine relationship with every person. At DOXA Sanctuary, we exist to glorify this God and to introduce others to who He truly is.

Genesis 1:1 · Matthew 28:19

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God — fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life on earth, died on the cross as the perfect and final sacrifice for the sins of all humanity, rose from the dead on the third day, and ascended to the right hand of the Father. His resurrection is not a metaphor; it is the cornerstone of our faith and the proof of His victory over sin and death. He is coming again, and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

John 1:1–5 · 1 Corinthians 15:3–4

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity — fully God, fully present, and fully active in the world today. He convicts the world of sin, indwells every believer at the moment of salvation, and empowers us to live the life God has called us to. We believe in the present-day fullness of the Holy Spirit, including His gifts and His power at work in and through the Church. At DOXA Sanctuary, we do not simply talk about the Holy Spirit — we pursue His presence in every service, every prayer, and every life.

John 16:7–13 · Acts 1:8

Salvation

Salvation is the greatest gift God has ever given — and it cannot be earned, purchased, or achieved through human effort or good works. It comes by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. Every person who genuinely repents of their sin and places their trust in Jesus is forgiven, born again, and sealed with the Holy Spirit. That salvation is secure, not because of our ability to hold on to God, but because of His power and faithfulness to hold on to us.

Ephesians 2:8–9 · Romans 10:9–10

The Church

The Church is not a building, a denomination, or a Sunday program — it is the living Body of Christ, made up of all who have been redeemed by His blood. The local church exists to worship God in Spirit and in truth, preach the uncompromised Gospel, make disciples of all nations, and serve the community around it. We believe every believer is called to be an active, planted, and committed member of a local church family — because no one was designed to walk this journey alone.

Matthew 16:18 · Hebrews 10:24–25

Eternity

Every person was created to live forever — and the choice made in this life determines where that forever is spent. Those who receive Jesus Christ as Saviour will spend eternity in the glorious presence of God. Those who reject Him will face eternal separation from God in a place called Hell. We do not preach eternity to create fear — we preach it because it is the truth, and because the truth has the power to change the direction of a person's entire life and destiny.

John 3:16 · Revelation 20:15
